The Masked Simger by Tiger: The Next Contestants!

Announcer: Coming soon to your television screen...The Masked Simger!
Nine household names compete behind a mask, behind a costume, just their voices to showcase their talent! Do you have what it takes to pick who is behind the mask?

Announcer: And here comes the elusive beast now! The Yeti!
Yeti: Yetis do prefer hiding up in the mountaintops, but there is nothing more this yeti likes that being out and about, trying to mingle with the locals! Though...I suppose they are a little terrified of me. I have not had a spotless past, spooking unsuspecting hikers...but I Am Changing (that will be my week 2 song, if you keep me around!)

Yeti: I am a marvelous beast, if only you took the time to look beneath the surface! I have had to dance in the rain when I wanted to cower in my cave, but that is all a-okay! When you're a Yeti, your fur can keep you dry, but only for a time, as you grow, and outgrow your family, too...
But things are not always downpours for a Yeti!

Yeti: I have decided I will not hibernate in the winter this year, but that has meant I am on the search for someone to cuddle up to on the ice-sofa come Christmas! Surely there is another cute yeti out there for me, girl-yeti or boy-yeti, I have been known to not be all that picky! Only when I am picking the fleas from my skin - ouch! Those bite.

Yeti: But for now, Yeti is pouring himself a drink and getting ready to sing for you all! It may not be the first time I have sung for an audience, but it is certainly the first time I'm singing as the Yeti...in the past, it has always been a different version of myself. I do hope you enjoy my song for you!

Yeti: *singing* Too alarming now to talk about
Take your pictures down and shake it out
Truth or consequence, say it aloud
Use that evidence, race it around

Yeti: There goes my hero
Watch him as he goes
There goes my hero
He's ordinary

Yeti: Don't the best of them bleed it out
While the rest of them peter out
Truth or consequence, say it aloud
Use that evidence, race it around...
There goes my hero

Announcer: And now...make way for Panda!
Panda: I am not always on time, but I must admit I made sure to be for this, and for the performance later tonight! I have my flaws - something a panda is not to admit, I'm sure, we are such adorable creatures and I forget sometimes what hides beneath this skin. I am not the most innocent of pandas, not like the sneezing panda videos I always seem to end up watching...

Panda: I have gone through many different stages in my life, constantly evolving, because it's in my nature to do so! Unlike how I appear on the outside, I am not so black-and-white. I have deeper layers that many people have come to explore and understand, but do they truly know who I am? Who I am beneath this fur and this cuteness, which has seemed to have faded over the years...

Panda: Can I play the piano? I...I don't think so, I am simply doing this to look more elegant and regal than I am...because pandas come from simple families, totally planted firm to the earth, like the bamboo I devour each and every day!

Panda: I contemplate my life to this moment and think of the stories I will tell my children one day, when I inevitably have them. I will tell them of how their mother - that'll be me, how interesting it should turn out - how she was swept up in a tale that'd confuse all the baby pandas, and with the conclusion, was it sweet? Panda will reach that conclusion one day, I just know it.

Panda: *singing* I'm so tired of playing
Playing with this bow and arrow
Gonna give my heart away
Leave it to the other girls to play

Panda: For I've been a temptress too long
Just...
Give me a reason to love you
Give me a reason to beeeeeee…a woman

Panda: I just wanna be a woman...
Announcer: Who is this mysterious Panda? Have you figured out from the clues? More to come later from miss Panda!
But now...another set of clues!

Space Villain: For all intents and purposes, I am generic. But underneath this dark-black outfit lies a personality millions have come to love, adore and worship...they just haven't noticed as much. Or have they? Who can say?
As the Space Villain, you would think I am ruthless and merciless, but that is just not true! I may run a tight ship, but I can promise one thing...there will be fun.

Space Villain: And who said a space villain had to be the destruction of planets? Perhaps I have caused some minor hiccups, but all has been forgiven! Oh I should hope so!
People say I have a winning personality. People give me applause, so why shouldn't I think myself the right kind of space villain? The space villain hero!

Space Villain: I am always looking for new, uh, friends, to join me in the, uh, vacation through space! We may bump into asteroid belts, but that's half the fun! Isn't it?
But if others aren't willing to join me...I have other passions, other friends, other places to be! Life is not all about my work. I go home at the end of the day, take off my space gear, and put up my feet. Ah, it's nice to massage the blisters away from wearing shoes all day.

Space Villain: Because in the end, isn't it all about fun?
Not something you thought such a dark and sinister looking man would say, huh? I do surprise. It's part of my skillset, truly. Though I tuck it away only for the moments it needs to be exposed. I keep it in a flask in my pocket, instead of booze! Hehe, I do like pushing people on the swings.
Now time to siiiinnnng!

 Space Villain: *singing* Ohhhhhhhh darling!
I'll never do you no harm
Believe me when I tell you
I'll never do you no harm

Space Villain: Oh! Darling, if you leave me
I'll never make it alone
Believe me when I beg you
Don't ever leave me

Space Villain: *scream-singing* When you told me you didn't need me anymore
Well, you know I nearly broke down and cried
When you told me that you didn't need me anymore
Well...you know I nearly broke down and died!

Announcer: And one last contestant! I know, so sad! I can't believe we don't have like eighty contestants! Can you imagine how fun that would be?
Can you imagine how freaking depressed I'd be by the end of that?
Strawberry Bear: I'm not just any ordinary bear! I'm a Strawberry Bear, which means I'm kind of like those bears on TV, but I have a fruit on my belly!
Ain't that cute? If you couldn't tell, I love being here!

Strawberry Bear: I love riding this bike. It puts the whole world into perspective. I am small and just a tiny part of it, and I'm not as unique as my parents used to tell me!
It's like competing in reality shows. You see who else is out there in the world, and I've seen who is a few times! It's been fun!

Strawberry Bear: Some people like to think I'm too excitable, or too jumpy, but they are just too boring, or too stuck up! Riding this bike is like being a little kid again, and I miss that - the freedom! But now I do adult things, like pay the bills, at least I can afford them! Some people think I'm stupid. But that's a first glance thing, because you have to get to know this strawberry bear!

Strawberry Bear: Don't be fooled by appearances, I have the chance to win this thing, and not just because I bet I have a great singing voice, but because...no one likes anything more than they like an underdog story. Or, should I say...an underbear story! An under-strawberry bear story!

Strawberry Bear: *singing* Somebody said you got a new friend
Does she love you better than I can?
There's a big black sky over my town
I know where you're at, I bet she's around

Strawberry Bear: And yeah, I know it's stupid
But I just gotta see it for myself...
I'm in the corner, watching you kiss her
oh oh oh

Strawberry Bear: I'm right over here, why can't you see me, oh oh oh
I'm giving it my all, but I'm not the girl you're taking home, ooh
I keep dancing on my own!
(I keep dancing on my own...)

Announcer: So there you have it! The nine contestants for this season of The Masked Simger! Do you think you know who is beneath the masks?

Let us know! The poll is now open: who do you think is singing behind the masks?

Next time: one celebrity will be unmasked! Who will it be?
