SimShots: 11-20

Hello and welcome to the second edition of SimShots! In this part, I will display sets 11-20 and discuss... well, everything you need to know about them. Without further ado, here they are.....

 11. Katy Perry Medley (E.T, Wide Awake and Part of Me)

Two things. Firstly, these three songs by Katy Perry are probably my favourites of her work, and therefore I knew I wanted to use them in some way in this series. What better way than a medley. Secondly, the love story told here is unique and short-lived, but also shows the reality of a one-night stand.

 12. Hold On by Wilson Phillips

In a rare case of events, I was forced to change the song for this set at the last minute. I realised the song I originally picked didn't suit the current images, so here we are with Hold On by Wilson Phillips. This set is about forgetting the heartbreak of friendships that don't work out and living a life full of wonder and happiness.

 13. Colours by Halsey

In the previous set, I discussed that I changed a song at the last minute. That was this song, Colours by Halsey. Also notice the change from Sims 4 to Sims 3. This set is about a romance that was doomed from the beginning and came crumbing to pieces when he accidentally killed her. It never took him long to move on.
14. Once Upon a Dream from Sleeping Beauty

You've heard the story of Little Red Riding. The adorable little girl is ambushed by a big bad wolf, who later pretends to be her grandmother. The lumberjack/woodcutter saves them all. However, in this dramatic retelling, nobody can save the grandmother from her own granddaughter, who is the one to viciously rip her to shreds.

 15. Tag, You're It by Melanie Martinez

Everything about this set is my favourite. The song, the premise, and the undeniable connection to Alice in Wonderland. The original song by Melanie Martinez describes when a little girl is kidnapped by 'the big bad wolf'. In this set, when a girl is kidnapped and taken to 'Wonderland', she battles holding onto her innocence or becoming a woman.

 16. Bird Set Free by Sia

'Clipped wings, I was a broken thing. Had a voice, had a voice, but I couldn't sing.' When I fist listened to Bird Set Free by Sia, somehow I pictured Snow White, a girl trapped behind the walls of the castle and the voice of her evil step-mother. Somehow, Snow White could 'scream' so loudly yet her actions were always simple and much like a princess would act. The ending for this set is from the original fairy tale, where Snow White forces the Queen to dance on hot coals until she dies

 17. Tango: Maureen from Rent

The love I possess for this movie is beyond compare. This song, Tango: Maureen from the musical Rent, is about a cheating woman who constantly plays her partners like fools. However, for some number of times in the musical, the other woman returns to Maureen (the cheater), and their cycle of jealously and anger continues.

18. Part 1: Trouble by Halsey

This is the first part in a two-part series on this literally amazing song by Halsey. This set begins with a murder, but rewinds back to see exactly how she died. An abusive yet loving boyfriend who stood beside her until their wedding day is responsible of the death of the once-blushing bride.

 19. Part 2: Trouble by Halsey

In part two of the Trouble by Halsey set, the boyfriend only regrets his mistake in murdering his soon-to-be-wife, and hallucinates that she'll come back to him while he mourns in his prison cell. His insanity drives him closer to the edge as he imagines three versions of his dead girlfriend attacking him.

 20. Fame by David Bowie

The final in today's edition of Simshots, I pay my respects to David Bowie and explore the impacts 'fame' has on someone who is only determined to be popular and look beautiful wherever she goes. Dyeing her hair, changing her style and dating men she has no interest in cause her personality to change and sooner or later she overdoses on the little happy pills keeping her sane.
